Kevin Langshaw joins Exeter Mortgages Online

We are delighted to have appointed Kevin Langshaw to be our Lead Mortgage Adviser for Exeter Mortgages Online.

Kevin joins us with over 16 years’ experience dealing with all aspects of mortgage and protection requirements.  Kevin has an excellent reputation for outstanding customer service, as well as taking an innovative, yet professional approach  when dealing with clients’ specific needs whether complex or straightforward to ensure everyone gets the best possible advice.

Kevin had distinguished career in the Army, joining straight from school. Kevin has seen action in Northern Ireland and Afghanistan. Of some 170 commendations awarded during Operation Herrick 15, only four were to reservist soldiers and Staff Sargent Kevin Langshaw was one of them.

Kevin’s Army career has taken him all over the world, including countries such as the USA, Canada, Jamaica, Norway, Holland, Germany, Falkland Isles, Ascension Island, Kenya, Belgium, Italy, Gibraltar, Sardinia, Corsica, Spain, Egypt and Northern Ireland.

Kevin is still a very active member of the Army reservists and established a now flourishing troop in Plymouth in 2015.

Kevin whose previous business was called South West Intelligent Financial Solutions, t/a SWIFS will be working out of our offices in Topsham and prefers to go and see clients in their homes or places of work.  Kevin lives with his family in Plymouth, so will be covering the whole of the South Devon area and of course greater Exeter, including Newton Abbot.

Jon Ley joins our team of excellent Mortgage Advisors

We are delighted to announce that Jon Ley has now joined us on a full-time basis.  Jon is now a fully qualified Mortgage Adviser, having been with us, part-time, for three years in a support role.

Over and above the industry standard CeMap qualifications, Jon is also is accredited with Certs CII (MP & ER). He passed his compliance requirements with flying colours  and now offers advice on the whole of market for all mortgages as well as all Insurance and protection products such as Life and Critical Illness cover.

Jon has a young son who keeps him very busy, and is a keen runner and has taken part in numerous long distance events including the London and New York City marathons and enjoys playing guitar in local bands. 

Jon will be based at our Henleaze House office, as well as helping clients in the Exeter area.

Bath Mortgages Online is open for business!

Monday 6^th February 2017 is Bath Mortgages Online’s official launch date.

Bath Mortgages Online is part of the SWMortgages Group and is their third Mortgage Brokers having successful businesses in Bristol and Exeter already. The Bath Office is based at The Guild.

Philip Clark, the Group’s MD, will be joined by a new Director and Lead Adviser, Christopher Seward, to head up the Bath operation.
